In these workshops, Richard will teach his approach to painting, from mark making and colour mixing to how to capture atmosphere, texture and light in Oil paint. Expressive and dynamic, this workshop will give you the opportunity to approach painting in a new way, learning skills that will break down some of the difficulties of capturing the essence of the sky and sea.

With a focus on land and seascape painting, the workshop is great for both beginners and those with a little more practice. In it, there will be plenty of demonstrations in which we will focus on colour mixing, application and how to use gouache to create atmosphere and energy.
